“Healing the Soul In the Age Of the Brain: Why Feeling Bad Is Good For You.”

Elio Frattaroli, MDA world famous psychiatrist-psychoanalyst, and on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania Psychiatry School, he works with adults, adolescents and couples.  He will be lecturing on his classic book, “Healing the Soul In the Age Of the Brain: Why Feeling Bad Is Good For You.”  Frattaroli opposes the “quick fix” approach to psychiatry as dangerous.  Among his other works are: (Mis) Managed (Don’t) Care: Is Managed Health Care really A Necessary Evil For Physicians?”  He has also written  “Quest For Answers, Objects Of Desire” and “The Diagnosed Core.”
